  1. I would slightly undo the 17mm plug between the input and output on the fuel pump, then pump the little rugby ball above the filter,a small amount of fuel will leak, retighten 17mm plug. Now the air is out the car should run. This is for diesel not petrol. Which one not given.
  2. Look on ebay ,load model in.Say what you want and take your pick,British supplied from China or China direct postage time a little longer.
  3. I read an article from someone who said he had spent a lot of time on parking sensors and had never seen a duff one yet or one that could not be repaired by driving the water out of it with wd-40 and sealed after with varnish.
  4. I would like to recommend Castrol stop/start c3,when I got my crv 3.5 years ago it had Castrol edge in it.When I changed it came out lovely and clean.I put the stop/ start in and when I changed it,it was really black.I thought this must mean it is cleaning carbon from somewhere.I put in some more start/stop.But next time I will go back to edge as I have read it was designed for 2.2 diesel engines from Honda.
  5. When I first bought a code reader about 4 or 5 years ago, they gave you a book of codes,I have bought 2 since and they don't supply a code book, but they all have given a code and description. All have been at the £10 mark. All from ebay. The only code in the book is U0122 which is Lost Communication with Vehicle Dynamics Control Module. The other codes I think you can Google.as for wiring diagrams, I think your be lucky to get for a frv my crv is 09 and they are still reluctant to let haynes produce a book even thou' you can buy an American one but not for a diesel. They should be proud not to be on a list of manufactures who over claim how far there cars travel on a gallon of diesel.
  6. Be very careful you can get a haynes manual for 2002 to 2006, but after that there is very little information. Some comes from USA ,but it seems they don't allow diesel cars, therefore all the information is for petrol engines.
  7. I've found this on several cars,it seems as thou' there is some porous route through the screen,it must be due to the laminated way in which the screen is made.I know it sounds silly, but how do auto-wipers know when it is raining, with the sensor on the outside and the other sensor on the inside?
  8. When you changed the fob battery, did anything fall out, there is an insignificant small black square shaped 10mm oblong thing.this is what contains the number that is recognised by the immobiliser and with out this it won't start.I only found this out by replacing a fob case,I left this black thing in the old case.
  9. This sounds like a universal drive joint, which I have read will 'tick' at the beginning,if it is juddering it is well past that point,it will need to be replaced, you need either the LH or RH drive shaft. You can buy this as a complete unite. You may be able to see it from underneath, when you say it judders it should show some grease or damage to the rubber boot in the centre of the front drive wheels. You can get a new one,for about the same price of a secondhand one on Ebay.A new Honda one is about 3 or 4 times the price. This needs to be done or you will end up stranded.
  10. The only drawing I have is for a 2006 Honda crv,as there is no reason to change it ,it shows the repeater connected between the front and rear indicators,in parallel with them.If it is like other cars you will find a plug behind the wheelarch where the repeater is situated, you will need to unplug by pressing some sort of lever on the plug.Hope this helps.
  11. hi Phil, I've had this problem for over a year,I've tried all sorts of lubricant, the last being a ceramic spray for bicycles from wilko £2.50 it will quiet it for quite a while but it will come back,Eric the car guy on 'you tube' said if you put the cotter pin back the other way round which will make it easier to do another time,I am going to do this when the weather is better and coat the cotter pin with lithium grease at the same time as i think the cotter pin is the cause where it pivots,i think there is slight wear,i have a small piece of bamboo to push the cotter pin out with to keep the pedal in place.hope this helps, you need to remove the panel by the pedal for access.
  12. Try Googling it, I had to for mine a mk3.It was only place that gave a result, when i removed the filler at 100k ,which you had to remove the air filter box and battery box to get at it.I don't think it had been out before, altho' it had been to a main dealer and is supposed to be done at 30K.The filler was on the side of the trasmition that face the front bumper, and maybee 6cms or so above the drain.if there is no dratn as Trevor thinks you will have to get an oil pump and suck it out threw the level plug.oil pump about £10 on ebay.goodluck.
  13. if you had given what fuse 10 controls it might have made this a bit more simple. As you say that you loose your indicators, the side repeater is where I would start looking for water ingress, followed by the front and rear RH indicators looking for a fault in these, even in the lamp.Hope this might help as will a multimeter.Try looking on' you tube' for honda faults in general you might find the same fault listed for a civic or an accord.
