  1. For sale on eBay - item no.235242607023 Reluctantly selling my Honda Accord estate EX i-DTEC due to London ULEZ charge. I’d have happily kept this otherwise. This is ideal for a family car or for a sole trader who needs to have space to carry equipment. Plenty of money spent on the car over the years to keep it running as it should. This includes repair of the air con system in July 2023 which was very expensive, plus new battery and alternator. Total spent this year is £2,450.90. Premium stereo, which includes a factory fitted sub-woofer. Automatic lights and windscreen wipers. Powered tailgate. Three 12v sockets which are perfect for adding phone/tablet charging cables. Excellent shopping bag hooks in the boot (sounds like no big deal but you try living without them). Collection from Harrow, Middlesex, HA3, i.e. NW London. The car will not be released until money has been confirmed received. Known issues: - One of the front parking sensors doesn't work. It was like that when I bought it in 2018. The cost to fix it is too expensive so I've left it. The parking sensors still work fine (front and rear) but I turn off the parking sensors when not parking so the warning light signifying that one of the sensors doesn't work isn't on when I drive.
  2. Got it to Japex in Kings Langley and they said it was the alternator, which took the battery out with it. £660 later...
  3. HI I've not used the Accord since London ULEZ came into force on the 29/08/23. I went to turn it over today and it was practically dead. Jump started it OK but then the power steering warning light came on. This went off when I revved the engine so thought that was down to a low battery. Left the engine running for about 10 minutes with the occasional bit of revving but after a while other warning lights came on (VSA I think). I turned it off and tried to restart but it was dead again. Anyone have any ideas as to why? Thanks in advance for any help.
  4. I had the same issue. Managed to come across this company: https://automotivecompressor.co.uk/epages/eshop931745.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/eshop931745/Categories They wanted £450 up front, payable by BACS (no cards) so was very nervous. They had plenty of good reviews so I took the gamble and it paid off! They can refurbish your old one too (may be cheaper...not sure) but they supplied me a new/reconditioned one and it's fitted and working fine. I've had the car back for about a week and the air is cool again. The labour from my garage to fit was still £400 so the whole job isn't cheap but it's cheaper than £2,400!
  5. Hi all Hope someone can help. My Civic runs fine then all of a sudden multiple warning lights come on (all to do with steering, wheels, etc.). See photo attached. Sometimes they come on during a drive, and sometimes its when you start up. One time they went off again. When they come on during a drive there's no issue continuing to drive, i.e. nothing feels or acts differently. I've had a garage look at it twice but they can't nail it down, so was wondering if anyone knew of this issue and how it can be solved? Thanks in advance.
  6. Hi Hope you can help. I need a new air compressor for my air con unit. From Honda it's apparently around £2,000 for the part! Does anyone know where I can source an alternative or know who can repair the current compressor? Part number from Honda is 38810-RZ0-E01 Thanks in advance for your help.
