Samhal Posted March 10, 2020 Share Posted March 10, 2020 Hi, I have a Honda Civic type s 2007 and have a problem with the car that the mechanic says he can’t diagnose!!!! My car has started to get a thudding noise with a squeak (sounds like an old prank) but only when braking and only going forwards!!!!! The drivers front side has also dipped slightly in comparison to the passengers. No noise when driving only when braking and only once the car has warmed up any ideas????? Trevor Posted March 11, 2020 Share Posted March 11, 2020 It sounds very much like a loose brake pad or caliper and possibly missing a retaining clip.
