New battery needed or may there be a fault? (NB there is a disused black box on top of the battery. The battery issue has been happening before the black box was installed.) Thank you for your help. Trevor Posted April 24, 2020 Share Posted April 24, 2020 Hi.....welcome to the Forum Well it looks like an original or if not quite an old battery so chances are its no longer holding a charge. A replacement would probably resolve the issue. Not entirely sure what the box on top of the battery is but if in doubt you could disconnect it and see what happens but if new battery installed then probably okay left connected.
