Squealing tyres at roundabouts

I wondered if anyone has any advice about my problem. I have a 2011 CRV

I dtec 2.2 diesel with 102000 on the clock. It had a full honda history up to 2 years ago but since then I have serviced the car myself using genuine Honda parts. The car wears the front tyres out in 10000 miles and also squeals badly when I go round a roundabout at any kind of speed.

I am worried there maybe a differential problem front or rear. I wondered if the common rear differential issue would cause this?

Hi Nigel....welcome to the Forum

The rear differential is a common fault with the CRV and requires the fluid to be changed periodically.

Here is a link to the special fluid used:  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-HONDA-CRV-DPS-FLUID-DIFF-OIL-1-LITRE/392495346713?epid=1415923714&hash=item5b628bb419:g:t-sAAOSwSONcM4GV

If the fluid hasn't been changed for a while then it may require a flush.

Let us know how you get on with it
