Wass85
I'm looking at purchasing a CR-V 2.2 diesel but confused with the car tax. How come some cars tax costs are only £165 per year and others of the same model £205 per year? The cheaper car to tax is also better on economy, I can't see any info on the matter and seeing as though they are the exact same engine and same year I'm at a loss. Any help will be appreciated. Trevor
Hi...welcome to the Forum It's all to do with the EURO emissions and how much CO2 they produce, so even though they are more fuel efficient they do actually pollute more. For the small difference over the year I would just go with the one with the best economy and claim back the increased cost that way
