I've always liked them and my wife and I own a 2008 Accord 2.4 EX Auto. (last UK gen) I've owned 7 Honda's in my lifetime, including our current one. I'm looking to change out of my Lexus GS430 as I'm a bit bored of spending half my time at the petrol station (but it's such a good car!) Lexus are definitely there with Honda in reliability and build quality, just cheaper to run the Honda as you have already stated.
