Civic 2015 to 2021

For the past 2-3 months, every so often all of my orange warning lights have been coming on my car, followed by another orange light that says "please wait, system initializing". My garage seems to think that all of the sensors are connected to this "system" and that if one of them is faulty (they told me an ABS sensor, i've had one replaced but they seem to think it's another one now) it will set all of the lights to come off, but I'm not 100% sure with that, can anyone help? Hey everyone, hope you're all enjoying the festive season! I am hoping to benefit from the wealth of knowledge on here please. My daughter is having issues with the heated rear window not working. I have pulled the fuse block and passes the visual inspection, I have also swapped the relays over, the Honda Dealer advised that if the relay was broken the blower would stop working once swapped over. The blower continued to work and the heated rear window still does not. Any ideas for what I should look for greatly appreciated. Cheers

I've had the car for 3 years and during that time it's been serviced by the Honda dealer that I bought it from. However I'm not too happy by the way they work so what I would prefer is an independent garage that is Honda specialist. Doe's anybody know of such a business in the East Anglia area?

Hello all im having a nightmare finding a rear/left side sensor 57475TGN G01 for my car honda u.k has zero delivery date for me to get one ive been waiting 4 weeks already, anyone know how to get one please im going insane.

2017 Civic 1.0 litre turbo Air conditioning blows hot air. Local garage and Main dealer unable to find leak. Have used UV dye. Compressor functions ok. Any ideas please.

Hi all I have a 2017 honda civic cvt-1.8 mk9 , i recently purchased a scanner to to see if any fault codes about and if it worked with my car as my other one was no longer compatable it scanned the system recognised all the the parts and vin number , after that all my lights come on cbtc , tps , handbrake abs the lot even though there is nothing wrong with them i have tryed reset manually not haveing it , i saw on youtube there was a hard reset some how but not been able to get it to i even reset to factory defaults on infotainment system . I assume there is something im missing along the way some simple fix . Regards Lord

Hi, considering getting mk10 1L (2018) is there any issues worth noting? I was reading about turbo and engine issues from cam belt debris blocking oil passage filters which put me off a bit, what's the consensus? Thx

Hello guys, I would like to but a Honda Civic 2017 (17 reg) 1.8 i-VTEC SR Auto with CVT. I would be grateful if you could let me know how reliable is the car especially the CVT gearbox. I know this is a stab in the dark but I really am at my whit's end on this car. Story is the engine light came on and the car went into limp mode turned it off and restarted all good again but this started happening more often so took it to a Honda main dealer. They first said it was an injector so replaced that, then told me it was head gasket so started stripping down the engine only to be told it was a piston and that a nut from the turbo had come off and damaged piston number 2 quoted me over £8000 to replace the engine and turbo. I obviously rejected this and went to pick up the car. It was now in a thousand pieces. Strangley enough all parts returned bar the damage…

I bought a 2018 Civic type R GT that was a year old. It has a central tail pipe that is red. I have seen other ones with this style of pipe and I had a brochure showing this configuration. I have noticed that the red colour is coming off. I have spoken to the dealer who say that the red centre pipe was never an option and it must be an after market add on. The car only had 4000 miles when I bought it and I find this unusual. They will however sell me a new chrome back box for £770!! What I am asking is if anyone else had this problem. Do they have a factory fitted red centre pipe (or am I just going mad?)

Need to charge up my battery after leaving the lights on overnight. According to the manual the battery needs to be disconnected before connecting a smart charger. Will I lose my pre-set radio functions on disconnection or can the charger be connected to the positive terminal and an earth point on the car without any damage to the sensor on the negative terminal?
