  1. Sure I've seen these on Ebay from £70 t0 £120. Didn't they stop putting spares in cars etc due to H&S concerns?????
  2. Has anyone investigated buying a low profile 16 inch spare for the Crosstar. A puncture has just cost me £185 because I had to use the emergency kit supplied with my Crosstar. New tyre & new emergency kit parts!!!
  3. This ice build up is very annoying on the Crosstar. Even when cleaned up, below freezing weather causes warning systems to shut down or give random warnings. Very bad design. Should have heating elements fitted like wing mirrors.
  4. Not had a problem with my HV battery but had my 12v battery changed after 18 months because it was not holding the charge !! 2024 Crosstar!
  5. Same thing is happening to me with 18 month old Crosstar. Down from 63 to 53 in 10 months. AI tells me it’s winter driving. All systems on using battery. Hoping it gets better in summer!!
  6. I can't get it up on my ramps sadly, the daft plastic nose is too long, I'll get some wood sorted out and get it up there. Live rurally and the road is no good for working on the car as it's single track and there's nowhere flat near the house except the front yard and it's currently a mudbath, not stopped raining this year so far, so hopefully Sunday I might be able to sort something out. Cheers man.
  7. Really cold spells coupled with short runs will bring the mpg down quite a bit - the automatic choke will be on for longer . This may be too obvious but I have noticed quite a significant drop in mpg in the winter cold periods . Also I do a lot of short runs. It still sounds like a pretty good mpg that you are getting !
  8. Hi Trevor, thanks for your help. I found the problem. I had a container of windscreen wash in the boot. Whilst it appeared it was sealed, it did leak very slowly.
  9. Thankyou for your helpful replies ! Eventually I realised that a rear tyre valve was losing pressure very very slowly causing the sensor to activate. Once I got the valve changed the problem with the tyre sensor disappeared completely and the sensors have not activated for months now. If the sensor is triggered after a long run - when the tyre pressures have been reset earlier - I just check them for any obvious puncture/air loss then if all ok I just cancel the sensor message . But I only do this once . Fortunately the sensors are fine now .
  10. i think trev is a Transrider 😂
