Weird beeping
I have an unusual issue. I left the car parked for four weeks. Started fine, however I have four rapid beeps, this goes of when i get above about 10mph, it also goes off when stationary when I apply the handbrake. Cannot find anything about what this annoying beeping is. Apart from this the car drives well, and the Japanese voice and sat nav in Japan is a great talking point

Honda N600 ('J' registration)
Hello, My Dad died in August 2025. He had kept an old N600 in his garage for 40 years - always planning it to be his 'next project'! It is not in good condition, but I would say it's surprisingly good for 40 years! It hasn't run since approx 1985 - so it would require a complete rebuild. I'm not hoping for much - would just like it to be of some use to someone! At the very least, is there a market for spares etc? (ps: the photo is a bit sad - I have since cleared away all of the sur -

Spacesaver Wheel Available FOC
JayEnBee ·I recently sold my 2010 Honda Accord, but was left with the spacesaver spare wheel, which is now cluttering up my garage. If anyone wants it, all they need to do is collect it! It has never been used. -
PRE PURCHASE INSPECTION
Hi My son is fast approaching 21, thankfully the last of my offspring to reach the milestone. Made a poor choice with my other kids that trail-blazed before him in that they received a car as their 21st birthday present. Joint family effort to combine funds enough to get them something safe and reliable. This now sets a precedent that I cannot avoid, additionally he has also picked up my petrol head affliction and more specifically, he loves all old Hondas. I suspect this is also my own fault

Keeping Civics alive.
Ogrerob ·Out of lots of bikes I have owned 3 have been Hondas and all have impressed. I drove an Accord for some years until it was written off and later I bought a Civic 1.6 SE Executive for my wife. We have owned it since 2005 and it was used by all the family when needed. Always serviced annually it has not been so thoroughly cared for recently, other than annual oil changes. I would like to think that it could continue giving service either as a restoration project or even as spares for another car

Undertrays and wash pump advice
Hi. Civic 5 door hatchback 2015 (9th gen) 1.6 diesel manual, 66k miles. Bit of advice please. I only do the brakes on this car as the garage does the rest, spring replacement, oil changes etc servicing to keep the service history going, it's a dear game these days looking after a car. It's my wife's car so I don't drive it very often. I need to remove the mahoosive under tray to get to the underside of the engine to investigate an odd noise from the engine bay. The metal section is stuck fast, t

Undertrays and wash pump advice
I can't get it up on my ramps sadly, the daft plastic nose is too long, I'll get some wood sorted out and get it up there. Live rurally and the road is no good for working on the car as it's single track and there's nowhere flat near the house except the front yard and it's currently a mudbath, not stopped raining this year so far, so hopefully Sunday I might be able to sort something out. Cheers man.

MPG indication suddenly dropped.
Really cold spells coupled with short runs will bring the mpg down quite a bit - the automatic choke will be on for longer . This may be too obvious but I have noticed quite a significant drop in mpg in the winter cold periods . Also I do a lot of short runs. It still sounds like a pretty good mpg that you are getting !

Water in the spare wheel well.
Hi Trevor, thanks for your help. I found the problem. I had a container of windscreen wash in the boot. Whilst it appeared it was sealed, it did leak very slowly.

Tyre pressure sensors
Thankyou for your helpful replies ! Eventually I realised that a rear tyre valve was losing pressure very very slowly causing the sensor to activate. Once I got the valve changed the problem with the tyre sensor disappeared completely and the sensors have not activated for months now. If the sensor is triggered after a long run - when the tyre pressures have been reset earlier - I just check them for any obvious puncture/air loss then if all ok I just cancel the sensor message . But I only do this once . Fortunately the sensors are fine now .

Another trip to days gone
I have just returned to life as a Mod....some 40+ years later and I'm nailing it (at least in my own mind) and still have my original Parka coat and gone out and bought a 25 year old Vespa PX which is great fun. It's also great to have an interest in clothes shopping again, been too long since I last made an effort to put on a smart outfit and go out to clubs, etc. As they say "you're never too old" 🙂

Yep I can imagine if you have very little hair left in your age range then it is worth being fussy to preserve what you have 😂
