Service Reminder Display 2015 Type S

Hi all,

My car used to display an orange spanner symbol in the centre part of the Speedo clock when it needed a service. 

After servicing the car I could always reset the counter.

But recently I notice that the service counter is blank (3 dashes) and doesn't appear to be counting anymore. 

Is there a way of re-activating it as I'm concerned it also has a link to the DPF regen system?

More than likely this is the DPF regenerating and while that is active then possibly it will not allow the service reset to occur at the same time?
