hi, bought a crv - headlamp washers do not work - digital clock not working - any ideas will help

Hi Jim...welcome to the Forum

 

Not sure why they are not working but they would not be linked and you may have an independent issue with each system.

Fuses are my first thought.

Generally the CRV electrical system is bulletproof and not known for faults

Let us know what you find

all fuses checked twice,

headlamp washer removed and checked and working

all dash lights working

also i would like to get an repair manual - any recommendations

I believe there are several manuals available in the USA but should be relevant to the UK market

i found a site offering workshop manuals - cost 9.99 which was the easy part 

after that it was several attempts to download - a friend came to the rescue

it turned out to be a canada/ usa manual

i would have thought it would be available in this country

i will keep trying
