My CMBS works as it should, but does not reset itself. Is there any way I can reset it without having to go to the dealer?

TIA

John

Hi John.....welcome to the Forum

Here is some information I have found for the system:

To turn the CMBS off, press the CMBS OFF switch on the dashboard for about 1 second. When you do this, a beeper sounds, a CMBS indicator on the instrument panel comes on, and a CMBS OFF message appears on the multi-information display. To turn the system back on, press the switch again for about 1 second.

Generally, the system should switch on every time you cycle the ignition

Thanks for taking the Time to reply. I already know how to switch she MBS on and off my problem is that it’s been activated by a car pulling in front of me and won’t reset itself automatically. It’s happened several times before and I’ve had to go to the dealer to reset the system I’m just wondering if there’s any way I can reset it myself
