elpachio Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 I have a 2009 Honda Insight and I need a new battery for it, but I'm a bit confused. When I search on websites it seems to suggest I need a 12V 25-40 Ah (often part 054) battery, which seems to be a standard battery. It warns that they are not suitable for start-stop cars. My Insight has an auto-stop function on idle, so does that count, or is it a different kind of start-stop function, and they are referring to more electric cars? I assume a standard battery is fine for my Insight, but can somebody confirm this please?
qc2 Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 the 12v battery on the hybrids are standard batteries, as with my civic hybrid
