paddyboy Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Hi, I have a 2000 plate 1.4 civic (EJ6) which will turn over but not fire, and a person in the trade suggested the ignition module, which I've ordered online but will wait for it to arrive. After taking the distributor cap off of which one of the bolts had snapped, so another job to drill and tap, if once the ignition module is in which I've never done and the car starts does anyone know whare the 2 pin service connector is to do the ignition timing, any info on the subject welcome as we have to keep this old 23 year old girl on the road. Thanks
paddyboy Posted February 20, 2023 Author Posted February 20, 2023 Update. car that was just turning over but not fireing at all was the ignition module and also got a mate in the trade to drill out the broken bolt in distributor and put a threaded sleeve in like a hellicoil and didn't need to do any timing as far ran good from first turn of key.. now the old girl is mobile once more... 1
