Posted August 24, 20232 yr Hi , starting issue. 2010 2.2 diesel Replaced glow plugs . Replaced glow plug relay. Obd fault code says glow plug control unit. Not a clue whereabouts it's mounted as took long enough finding relay.. Any clues or pictures of it. Many thanks

August 27, 20232 yr Author Thanks for reply.. Vehicle came back yesterday from BAE and is showing no faults and have been told it's a mechanical issue and not a electrical issue.. Difficult to start first thing with some white smoke. Restart 2 minutes later and no problem.. Drives normal once started. Only time a problem is first start. I am sure it's going to be a real issue when the season changes.
August 27, 20232 yr Fingers crossed Also, worth checking the fuel filter and replace if necessary You can tell that its an issue if the rubber bulb at the filter housing is soft and takes a few pumps to stiffen up then the engine usually starts straight away afterwards
