middleportreddie Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Hello all. l was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem with their Honda car? The automatic box works well apart from this juddering when starting from stationary. It is the same in reverse as it is going forward. Not apparent at all when Stone Cold, gets worse as the car gets hotter. So l think that precludes things like engine mounts, or box mounts. I think it needs a filter and fluid change. What do you think, am I right, or is there something more likely that you know of with the benefit of Honda experience? Please let me know, any help would be gratefully accepted.
middleportreddie Posted February 18 Author Posted February 18 hi l am not sure if anyone can see this, please anyone just send that you see this posting. Thanks a lot
Alan gsd Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Yep, your post is showing, weekend all out cleaning cars, if only the rain would stop!!!! I'm sure you will get help and advice just not from me as anything to do with under the bonnet is above my pay grade!!
middleportreddie Posted February 18 Author Posted February 18 Hi and thanks for replying. Now the waiting game starts waiting for others.
Trevor Posted March 1 Posted March 1 To be on the safe side and to eliminate a component that will need maintenance at some point then I would recommend a transmission fluid and filter change You at least can see how bad (if that is the case) the fluid and filter are
middleportreddie Posted March 1 Author Posted March 1 Thanks for your post Trevor. Yes I think your right, I will go ahead and do the oil and filter change. That also gives me the chance to see what crud is in the box. I will report back once done.
