I have a 66 plate HR-V EX with electric folding mirrors.

The problem I have is they have a mind of their own, and keep opening and closing whilst driving the vehicle. Sometimes they will close for up to 5 mins and there’s nothing I can do to open them again. 
clearly an electrical / motor issue, has anyone else experienced a similar problem with their HR-V and what suggestions or advice can you offer please? The vehicle has only covered 27,000 miles. 
obvs the vehicle is now out of warranty.
