Tyre pressure sensors

The same as when driving, tyre pressures increase on their own in hot weather.  I don't know if the tyre pressure alarm points can be altered in the car to allow for the extra pressure in the tyres ( I'm not overly familiar with the Jazz as it's my wifes), but if not then you could physically lower the tyre pressures by a couple of lbs to stop the alarm showing.  Don't forget to increase the pressures when the weather cools down.

There should be enough leeway in the settings to allow for some variation in pressures.

These Mk 3 Jazz's are a bit posh tyre senors, remember the good old days when every garage air line gave a different reading!!.

Had a damged tyre valve yeras ago was a late at night broken at the base used superglue got me home!!!!

Thankyou for your helpful replies ! Eventually I realised that a rear tyre valve was losing pressure very very slowly causing the sensor to activate. Once I got the valve changed the problem with the tyre sensor disappeared completely and the sensors have not activated for months now.

If the sensor is triggered after a long run - when the tyre pressures have been reset earlier - I just check them for any obvious puncture/air loss then if all ok I just cancel the sensor message . But I only do this once . Fortunately the sensors are fine now .
