Im wanting to buy a set of Recaro SR3 bucket seats for my honda civic ej9 and im wondering if ill be able to use my stock seat rails and if i cant what ones do i need to get?

Hi. I have a Honda Civic Y Reg. The tailgate / trunk / boot - whatever you want to call it - has got stuck. The central locking by using the fob or inserting the key in either of the locks works fine otherwise. This occurred before about 3 years ago and a garage fixed it by "replacing a mechanism" (that is a quote from my partner). I assume it was door lock mechanism/actuator. Any ideas I how I can get this fixed at low cost? E.g. is it simple enough to order a part myself and replace? If applicable. can anyone provide a link to an instruction on how to fix it?

Hi there, longtime lurker here. We have an EP3 and an EM1. The EM1 has a broken exhaust valve but still runs on three cylinders. Paintwork is a bit rough but no major damage. It has been in my family from new but I don't have the time to be rebuilding heads with a new family. Does anyone have any idea of value? Many thanks.

Back in the day when I launched enthusiastically in to 'classic' Civic ownership, I fondly imagined that parts sourcing would be a doddle - after all it's a Civic, how hard can it be? When my AeroDeck was attacked by the cat thieves, as they cut either side, I had to replace three sections as front pipe & middle scrapped (great). Guy doing the fitting (I don't enjoy fitting exhausts) couldn't find a front pipe. After a really lengthy run-around I managed to find what looked like the only option, which proved to be a poor fit putting the whole system out of line & it now makes a racket where it intermittently touches the underbody. I'm easily pleased - if she gets me from A to B and is reliable, I'm happy. So her beauty was an absolute bonus. I say beauty - she's beautiful to me - but she is not in 'mint' condition. I'm struggling to find the OBD port on my mb3 5 door fastback. I've searched on the internet in a few different places but can only pictures showing the hatchback location. anything i found for the fastback 5 door model are in different places. Hi, I have a 2000 plate 1.4 civic (EJ6) which will turn over but not fire, and a person in the trade suggested the ignition module, which I've ordered online but will wait for it to arrive. After taking the distributor cap off of which one of the bolts had snapped, so another job to drill and tap, if once the ignition module is in which I've never done and the car starts does anyone know whare the 2 pin service connector is to do the ignition timing, any info on the subject welcome as we have to keep this old 23 year old girl on the road. My 99 EJ6 coupe has immobiliser issues- but I don’t have the red master key and can’t get it. Honda have said they don’t have the facilities to replace this, or even replace the whole locking system on the car as it’s all been discontinued- meaning my car is dead in the water. Any suggestions how to overcome the immobiliser? Change ECU? Anything at all will be appreciated!

I am new to hondas and I'm looking at grabbing one as a daily soon. Been looking at EG and EK coupes (not sure on the actual codes for the coupes). I would like to get a B16 preferably but I might just be being stupid but I'm struggling to get whether the coupes got the B16. I believe I've found that the 99-00 EK VTi came coupe form and with the B16 but is this right? I also prefer the EG coupe but is it possible to get these with the B16 or would it just be swaps? I may go with an EG hatch if thats the easiest way to get a B16.

Hi guys, I'm based in Yorkshire and I have everything ready to turbo my civic coupe but the ECU, I've tried emailing a couple of company's but had no reply's apart from one which i was quoted £1,200 for the ecu and it all wiring and mapping together. My engine is the D168Y and i was just looking for advice on where else I could try for a ECU and?or if this is a decent quote. Thanks!

I discovered today that the catalytic converter has been stolen from my Civic Coupe (2001) 1.7 2 door Honda. Honda don't make the part anymore and I'm told that Honda haven't released the specifications so that there are no "aftermarket" parts available either. Nor can I find anything on E-bay. Does anyone have any other ideas about sourcing the part?

OK so at the moment I have the original stereo that came originally with my civic. I was just wondering does anyone here know what stereo would fit a 1997 civic hatch and how easy is it to change it from original to aftermarket?? Any help would be much appreciated. At the moment I can only pick up about 5 radio stations so it does need updating haha

I have just bought an LS 1998.and find it needs the rheostat replacing. I hear its in the heater duct and would like to know how to get at it. your help will really be appreciated. Thanks for your help
