Grease or oil or even water on the clutch plate can cause judder, also thrust bearing worn or sticking on the pivot ???

Hi everyone Just signed up to the forum, I hope to participate in the discussions and learn a lot from the forum. I'll certainly need help along the way? I am the owner of a 204 Honda Civic Exc,, with 49,000 miles on the clock; but looking at buying a CRV - Could be Petrol or Diesel engined? Will need some advising an that purchase.
