I have a 66 plate HR-V EX with electric folding mirrors. The problem I have is they have a mind of their own, and keep opening and closing whilst driving the vehicle. Sometimes they will close for up to 5 mins and there’s nothing I can do to open them again. clearly an electrical / motor issue, has anyone else experienced a similar problem with their HR-V and what suggestions or advice can you offer please? The vehicle has only covered 27,000 miles. obvs the vehicle is now out of warranty. kind regards

Hi there, just purchased my mums 2016 Honda HR-V EX, 25,000 miles. It appears there is a problem with the electric folding door mirrors, they seem to have a total mind of their own. They fold in and out on their own accord whilst driving? Any ideas what’s causing this and how to remedy the problem? Any suggestions or ideas on how I get the Sat nav system updated please, and do I have to go to my local dealer to have the system updated? Any idea on cost? Many thanks in advance guys.
