    Honda HR-V Hybrid Battery Queston

    Hello, I am looking to purchasing a Honda HR-V 2022 model this summer, but will buying a barely used one (less than 1,000 miles). It says on Honda’s website that you have 5 years/90,000 (whichever comes first) warranty on the battery, I want to know how long will the hybrid battery last on the HR-V? I know this varies based on a lot of factors but I plan to keep this car at least 6-7 years. So I want to see what I am in for in the long run. What happens after 5 years/90,000 miles? Does Honda do extended warranty on the battery? How much would it cost roughly to change the battery (worst case scenario out of warranty)? I will call Honda tomorrow for further information but wanted to check here if anyone has any information on this? Thank you.
