Hi Chris! The major cause of the inner tyre edge wear is due to extreme camber change caused by worn out bushings in the upper arm. The adjuster bolt-nut combo which goes through the back knuckle bushing does not contribute much to the wear, it affects the car's forward rolling behavior.
