  2. For some unknown reason I appear to be collecting water in my spare wheel well. The mats above are not damp and the seals look good. Has an had something similar, what is the solution?
  3. I hope you didn't pay full price for that awful job. You could make a blank and paint it with a complimentary colour. A local independent paint sprayer could give good advice.

  5. I changed them with exeon H11. It is better and not too bright for other drivers.
  6. Definitely a rare one to see on the roads nowadays - feel free to post an advert in the forums to see if you get some interest from any members. Maybe post up some pics of the Civic and some more info to assist with selling it.
  7. Could be faulty parking brake switch.
  8. The indicated mileage is based on your last driving habit along with external and internal temperature together with battery temperature. Is A.C on, heater fan, seat heats, radio, phone charger switched on, etc. etc.?
  9. Might help if the make, model, variant, year of manufacture were mentioned.

  11. I have an unusual issue. I left the car parked for four weeks. Started fine, however I have four rapid beeps, this goes of when i get above about 10mph, it also goes off when stationary when I apply the handbrake. Cannot find anything about what this annoying beeping is. Apart from this the car drives well, and the Japanese voice and sat nav in Japan is a great talking point

  15. I recently sold my 2010 Honda Accord, but was left with the spacesaver spare wheel, which is now cluttering up my garage. If anyone wants it, all they need to do is collect it! It has never been used.

  19. Best thing is to see what the part number is (possibly label or sticker on the motor) and cross-reference to Civic motor on eBay
  20. We couldn't afford to waste good(?) beer by spraying it up the walls - you were obviously a wealthy person in the '70s :-)

  34. Most vehicles nowadays have the facility to retrofit accessories and most of it is in place from the factory (as in wiring loom, fuses, etc). If they car was taken to the dealer for retrofitting lights, etc then it is a case of fitting the lights, putting power to the lights (fuse, switches, etc) and then programming it into the CanBus system to activate it.
  35. My 2014 Jazz is not fitted with Daylight running loghts, thinking of retro fit. Notice that cabin fuse box has pos15 labelled DRL, does this mean the car is wired for DRL ready for lights to be fitted. Any motor sparky help Thanks BB
  36. Hi all, admins delete if inappropriate, either way thankyou for your help and advice. Up for grabs here: 1998 Honda Civic Aerodeck 1.8 Vti for sale | eBay
  37. Thanks again for your advice
  38. They used to sell CV gaiters that were split and you placed them over the CV joint and ran glue along the length to secure it along with the clips each end. They sort of worked but were a little bit rigid so would pull off the joint but at least they lasted long enough for an MOT test :-)
