Hi all I'm Irfan from Preston, Lancs. Was wondering if anyone knows a breaker or where I can get (just) the casing for the handbrake. I have a 2010 2.2 i-cdti Civic and have searched the web for a while but can only find full kits for £40 or so on e-bay. I just need the shell as the top inch or so has cracked. Apologies if this has already been posted - anyone experienced or can offer advice on the following : When starting the car, if I press the ignition button on it's own, sometimes it takes a couple of attempts of turning over until the car starts. But if I keep the clutch pressed down and then push the ignition, it starts…

Hi everyone I am mainly here as I have never ever driven a Honda before apart from a test drive on an auto 1.6 diesel SR about 2 months ago which I liked. I am currently looking at a year old Civic saloon 1.6 diesel SR. I was wondering if anyone had one, any thoughts, real world mpg and anything else you could think of that may help advise me before I buy one! I currently drive a BMW 118d sport automatic 5 door so that’s what I am transferring from. Hi, I’m new here. Our Peugeot 108 lease is about to end and we are looking to upgrade by buying a used Honda Civic. We are expecting to spend between £3000 and £6000. I know Honda have a good reputation for reliability which is what attracted us. I see there are various petrol engine options 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 1.0 and diesels. I’m interested to hear opinions please on whether one of these engines is generally thought of as the best or the one to steer clear of. Any advice really appreciated, as I have no experience with Civics yet.

Hello, I live in Cornwall and recently acquired a 2012 1.4 Honda Jazz. I had a couple of Accords back in the 80’s and quite a few Honda bikes.

Suspected wheel bearing replaced bearing ,noise still there humming noise with a slight vibration through the steering wheel gets worse the longer you drive now has progressed to the centre and slightly to the nsf . Suspected tyres but we new last year but have swapped around noise still more prominent to osf. Been to a honda specialist but he's no idea. Anyone help please.

Hi All Noob to the forum, but I've been driving Hondas for the last 15+years. Currently have an original Gen1 Insight in daily use (274k miles or there abouts) and a sorry looking EK civic Jordan I'm trying to sell (sorry for starting with a for sale ad). Prior to this I've had a '97 DC2 which was THE best car ever and a similar age Accord Coupe.

Got an Accord gen7 facelift last year. Was member of HondaKarma, but it seems to have disappeared ? So am trying this forum.
