Civic 2011 to 2015

Hatchback, Hybrid & Type-R

Hi all, new to the forum. So my 2014 Tourer is up for MOT in April and I've been advised it needs both rear dampers (adaptive, electrically adjustable) replacing as they're leaking slightly. This hasn't been noted as an advisory on an MOT since 2018 (both sides, light misting of oil), but knowing my luck, it'll fail this time round. So my local mechanic who I've known for years and trust hasn't been able to source any apart from genuine items @ £100+ a piece. I've only been able to find them through Cox motor parts online at roughly the same price. So if anyone knows a reputable source for these parts any cheaper, that would be much appreciated. …

Hello, I am at a total loss with what to do with my 2012 Civic 1.8, I love driving it but it is has a fault that I'm really struggling to chase. When driving intermittently the indicators will fail and not work, at this point the washer fluid pumps fail and potentially a load of other electrical issues that i have not identified yet. The biggest issue that i face is that then when trying to restart the car the immobiliser light starts flashing and the car does not turn over. Things that i have tried - Plugging it into a diagnostics computer where absolutely zero faults appear (this leads me to t…

  4. Hi, I've recently had my DPF externally cleaned and the temperature sensor replaced by a garage. Subsequently, trip A, trip B and the odometer are now not displaying. Everything else is OK. I've tried: Resetting the trip meters. Defaulted back to the original settings. Checked the 10a fuse in location no 29. (Haven't replaced it as looks OK). Disconnected the negative battery terminal for 5 minutes or so, replaced it and still not resolved. (not sure if it's worth leaving longer). If anyone has any suggestions or have had similar and managed to resolve, any views are more than welcome. Thanks

Hello, I joined in August as we already have one 2013 Civic, but have recently bought a 2017 Civic diesel as I had written off my husbands Mondeo 😜😵 So we now have two Civics. However, I had a fiddle with the bits on the wheel, and changed to monitoring miles travelled on A. And it appears as though I may have turned off the stop/start function possibly by doing this, as a message flashed up something about it not being available, but I did not really see it well enough to read it properly (too quick). Sure enough, the stop/start no longer appears to be working, and I cannot find any information about getting it working again in the manual. …

I have a 2012 civic. It doesn't have auto folding mirrors on lock. There isn't anything in the settings to enable it. Is it possible to enable it with an OBD scanner or is there any other way to do it other than pressing the button before turning the engine off?
