As title suggests looking to buy 1.4 honda civic 2012 onwards. Budget is £6000 can you please give me pros and cons and especially what to look out for as can't afford to buy a lemon. Thanks in advance

Hi I am looking to buy a 2013 1.6 i dtec civic but when doing research it seems there is a fault with the VTC actuator failing on Crv, civic etc? Does this include UK engines?

Hello, I joined in August as we already have one 2013 Civic, but have recently bought a 2017 Civic diesel as I had written off my husbands Mondeo 😜😵 So we now have two Civics. However, I had a fiddle with the bits on the wheel, and changed to monitoring miles travelled on A. And it appears as though I may have turned off the stop/start function possibly by doing this, as a message flashed up something about it not being available, but I did not really see it well enough to read it properly (too quick). Sure enough, the stop/start no longer appears to be working, and I cannot find any information about getting it working again in the manual. …

2014 Civic 1.6 idtec - hatchback Hi everyone, ive had the passenger top strut mount changed a few days ago due to a knocking noise at very low speeds when turning/parking. The garage said the top mount was faulty when they had taken it off & the noise has gone from the passenger side & son has £200+. The problem now is im sure the same noise is coming from the drivers side (same noise). Im assuming it’s the same issue - top strut mount. Can the original problem with the passenger top mount mask the drivers side knock before it was changed?? Also would most people have changed both at the same time so its an even change of parts at the same t…

Hi, I've recently had my DPF externally cleaned and the temperature sensor replaced by a garage. Subsequently, trip A, trip B and the odometer are now not displaying. Everything else is OK. I've tried: Resetting the trip meters. Defaulted back to the original settings. Checked the 10a fuse in location no 29. (Haven't replaced it as looks OK). Disconnected the negative battery terminal for 5 minutes or so, replaced it and still not resolved. (not sure if it's worth leaving longer). If anyone has any suggestions or have had similar and managed to resolve, any views are more than welcome. Thanks
