2015 to 2022 Accord

Saloon & Tourer

  1. Hi, I have a Honda Civic 1.6, Auto, Hatchback, 2004-2005. there are so many brands out there and company's to order from. I need to order set of 2xFront and 2rear shock absorbers, with front and rear suspension mounts. Also full set of front and rear suspension springs. can anyone suggest where to order from. many thanks... Phill T.

  2. Hi. Would anyone know the OEM ride height, specifically at the rear, of the car? Looking through all the Honda media images when this model was launched there definitely seems to be a decent gap between the top of the tyre and wheel arch. Almost as though the back is lifted a little to cope with occasional load lugging. But mine seems the opposite as if the back is lower than the front. (As if the boot is full of junk). It's on its original springs and dampers and there doesn't seem to be any breaks on the coil springs. I've attached a picture of mine as it is today, fuel tank on empty by the way. So I wanted to check how far away from original it might b…

  3. Started by Peter Weston,

Just upgraded my 2014 CR-V to the 2018 model and all is well. Except ... The radio/phone/SatNav is incomprehensible (especially compared to the 2014 model) and I can't programme it to do anything I need it to. Without going into any details, does anyone know where to go to in order to understand it better? The manual's useless (it was fine in the old car). Huge thanks for any intelligence in this area. Peter

  4. Started by Chaps,

Hi, just picked up my accord tourer 2.2 diesel 2015 last week. Theres a slight whining noise from the engine, similat I guess to a quiet super charger kind of noise. Seems to dissappear above 2000rpm or you just can't hear it then. Engine pulls well, only averaging around 40mpg, was hoping for more but may be the norm? I've had a mechanic had a quick listen and seems to think its just abit of impeller noise from the turbo and nothing to worry about. There's quite abit of chat on the Internet about the engine being abit noisy and may be the norm. Is it worth booking it in Honda for them to take a look. Cheers…

  5. Started by 2.2 TypeS 2015,

Hi, I've owned a 2015 2.2 Type S for a couple of years now. Recently I've noticed that when the engine starts (hot or cold) it starts with a violent shudder. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Does this spec of car have the vacuum operated engine mounts, could they be faulty or is the rough start up quite normal? It seems to drive okay otherwise. At its recent service the dealer suggested sticking valves could be the cause so they put an additive in...which of course made no difference apart from to my service cost.

  6. Started by 2.2 TypeS 2015,

Hi, Does anybody use there tourer as a load lugger from time to time. If so are they any solutions to assist the rear suspension to stop it sagging as much as they do. I'm guessing Honda never made self leveling an option when these were new.
