Nice car. They are seriously underrated cars. But it's not the adas version.
Yes it has parking sensors.
There is something wrong with the electrics on your car.
The rear ones should turn on automatically. See what the main dealer says.

Yes it does, it’s technically not auto or manual as it is an e:cvt hybrid so has a transaxle instead but it drives like an auto
1) ACC. Will that bring the car to a complete stop if the car in front comes to a complete stop.
And start driving if the car in front starts moving forward.
2) LKAS. What's the minimum speed it will operate at. Will it turn the steering wheel automatically to keep you in the middle of the lane.

Nice car.
Manual or automatic.
Does it have Acc and lkas?

A photo of the lights would help.
Were there any lights on before you used the scanner?

It is an issue on the Accord's, and these cars will share the same components.
You will have to get an Amp-clamp (or similar) and see how much current is being drained when the car is parked. And then start unplugging the fuses one by one to isolate the parasitic drain.

Still running strong with the original engine and transmission.
Great achievement. But at least another 170k miles of life still left in it.
Manual or automatic?

It's a known issue. Your Bluetooth thingy is causing a parasitic drain.
Disconnect it. But then you can't use the voice commands

They will try to sell you a Dual Mass Flywheel sometimes even if its not needed
Unless it is worn (e.g clunking when the engine switches off) or you think its worth is while the gearbox is off?So many sharks about waiting to prey on the innocent.
@StavrosUnusual for the clutch to wear out so soon. Are you operating the clutch properly?

You need to read the codes and find out what they are telling you.

I have installed some on an Accord but the mirrors don't fold automatically, but do fold and are electrically operated
Don't see what difference it would make if they automatically fold.

Hello
The driver's side folding mirror won't move when operated electronically. I can fold and unfold it manually.
The passenger side one works ok.
Any ideas?

Hello all
I've got a 2005 Honda Accord Automatic 2.4 saloon.
The display consul is not working. The disc can be inserted but it just says ' Disc not reading' or something like that. I can only get the A/C screen to work.
Any suggestions, please?
Are you using a genuine DVD or is it a copied one?

Thanks for that, It corrected itself, but had the same problem going from BST to GMT in Oct 2022. After a while it went 2 hours fast, I was able this time to adjust the clock back two hours in the sat nav screen.
Before, mine was fully automatic and would always tell the right time.
Now I have to adjust it twice a year.
It was a right pita when it was wrong every day.

Ok trevor
Thanks for that. I have had a brief look but could not locate it. Ive checked it on the passenger side can not visibily see it. I think i may need to dig bit deeper by removing some panels. Ive removed the glove box no joy there.
Will let you know how i get on
Thanks trev
What happened then?

Thanks for that.
Just to confirm, have you actually used a copied disk in your Honda SatNav and found that it damaged it?
Or Is it a case of you never risked it?
Thanks

Seems like it affected the typing on your keyboard as well. 😊
It's an easy thing to do.
Worst case - you've done major damage to the electronics of the car.
If you're lucky, it's just the immboliser.

I use 5w-30 fully synthetic.
0w would be too thin for this engine.

Evening
Just a quick survey.
I know some say that copied sat nav dvd's can damage the sat nav unit. Is this really the case, or just a myth perpetuated by the main stealers to rip us off on updated map dvd's?
Personally, I've only used the original Honda ones.
Has anyone actually used a copied dvd, if so what was your experience.
How long have you used it, any issues, etc
Thanks

They look better in the flesh.
Tons and tons of power in those engines. You always have to hold the engine back as it just wants to fly.
Awesome cars!
