  1. Nice car. They are seriously underrated cars. But it's not the adas version.

    Yes it has parking sensors.

There is something wrong with the electrics on your car.

The rear ones should turn on automatically. See what the main dealer says.

Yes it does, it’s technically not auto or manual as it is an e:cvt hybrid so has a transaxle instead but it drives like an auto

    1) ACC. Will that bring the car to a complete stop if the car in front comes to a complete stop.

And start driving if the car in front starts moving forward.

    2) LKAS. What's the minimum speed it will operate at. Will it turn the steering wheel automatically to keep you in the middle of the lane.

  3. It is an issue on the Accord's, and these cars will share the same components.

You will have to get an Amp-clamp (or similar) and see how much current is being drained when the car is parked. And then start unplugging the fuses one by one to isolate the parasitic drain.

They will try to sell you a Dual Mass Flywheel sometimes even if its not needed
Unless it is worn (e.g clunking when the engine switches off) or you think its worth is while the gearbox is off?

So many sharks about waiting to prey on the innocent.

@StavrosUnusual for the clutch to wear out so soon. Are you operating the clutch properly?

    Hello all

    I've got a 2005 Honda Accord Automatic 2.4 saloon.

The display consul is not working. The disc can be inserted but it just says ' Disc not reading' or something like that. I can only get the A/C screen to work.

    Any suggestions, please?

Are you using a genuine DVD or is it a copied one?

Thanks for that, It corrected itself, but had the same problem going from BST to GMT in Oct 2022. After a while it went 2 hours fast, I was able this time to adjust the clock back two hours in the sat nav screen.

Before, mine was fully automatic and would always tell the right time.

Now I have to adjust it twice a year.

It was a right pita when it was wrong every day.

    Ok trevor

Thanks for that. I have had a brief look but could not locate it. Ive checked it on the passenger side can not visibily see it. I think i may need to dig bit deeper by removing some panels. Ive removed the glove box no joy there.

Will let you know how i get on

    Thanks trev

    What happened then?

  8. Evening

    Just a quick survey.

I know some say that copied sat nav dvd's can damage the sat nav unit. Is this really the case, or just a myth perpetuated by the main stealers to rip us off on updated map dvd's?

Personally, I've only used the original Honda ones.

Has anyone actually used a copied dvd, if so what was your experience.

How long have you used it, any issues, etc

    Thanks
