I have now learned from MOT by Honda that there is a gas leak and the cooler may need changing. They have quoted £500 to repair with a non approved (Honda) unit. Anyone had this done by a non Honda dealer?
  2. Discs came out slightly lipped. Pads 80% worn. Honda want £740 to replace all. Is there a cheaper way e.g. are the discs themselves easy to remove? I'm guessing the pads are easy to change. Honda Jazz 2018 1.3 I-VTEC EX NAVI CVT. Thanks.

I prefer the feedback from the users. Just wondering if there might be a fix nothing to do with Honda.

Does my Honda Exec VTOC 2018 SatNav do What3Words anyone know?

Well I have now seen leakage under the car engine passenger side. Looks clear but oily. Wouls this be the Air Con. There are no warnings and the car drives OK. Honda wanted £350 a while back because they have to remove a lot of bits to get at it. Advice welcome.
  7. How can I test if my Aircon cooling is working in these winter temps? I think I need a hot day for cool air to blow through. Jazz Exec VTEC Auto 2018.
  8. I checked the tyre pressures and found it recovered for a while and then it went back down again. Did the tyre pressures again but no luck there. Still wondering why it's struggling to get to 49mpg as normally goes to 52 mpg on a reasonable run. Honda auto VTEC 2018.
  9. The dashboard count for mpg has dropped from 52mpg-ish to 45mpg-ish. I fill up from the same garage (Morrisons) so not that. I have not checked against actual usage but will do so next fill up. Ideas: 1. Weather? Don't think so myself but maybe? 2. Done 26,000 so maybe a software routing has decided to change it? 😅 3. Something needs servicing (but serviced August!). Any help appreciated. Thanks.
  10. But downloaded it and took to car but it said it was the same. Came back to the Garmin App and it showed any update was in fact a Europe related which does not interest me. I updated about a year ago anyway. Should I not bother as only interested in UK travelling? Software version of Garmin Navigator on USB is 3.45. Thanks.
  11. I have to transport 6' x 4' green house frame. I have no roof rack so looking to do something across inside the windows and do the windows up. There will be no glass on the roof just 6 pieces of alu frame very light. ideas welcome if someone has done it before. Many thanks.
  12. Should I use the USB or Cig outputs on my Jazz 1.3 Ex. 2018? I hve a nokia TA-1024 (2017). Thanks.
  13. Should I use the Cig or USB outlet to charge my 2017 Nokia TA-1024 phone? Not sure if 12V is too much. Thanks.
  14. He said it has a gas leak and £75 to repair plus parts (if gasket needed). As the Honda Jazz Exec is 2018 he said poss Honda would underwrite the repair as not far out from guarantee. A/C is still working. Advice on what to do welcome. Wait for it to fail or get it done? Thanks.
  15. I have an auto Jazz 2018 Exec. When I corner there's a slight grating or roughish noise somewhere in the front wheel area. It's not something caught I think mechanical. it does not last long and seems particular to how far the steering wheel is turned (say30 deg) and speed. difficult to describe really. Advice appreciated.
