I do still have a tax disc from about 15 years ago displayed on my 2005 CRV which I've had for a year and for a car 18 years old is something special the condition, finish and equipment would still put many younger cars to same ... and have no intention of going electric again 😀
  2. Another thing I was told was that I keep under the bonnet to dry so on my transit over time ihe linkage jamed up and after a good spray of duck oil was good to go again. And your right about driving style I found it very strange to start with after a ford!!

Having been around a good few years I wonder why they no longer fit indicators to such cars as BMW and Merc's, why people around here drive in the centre of the road and park on corners, and park in 2 parking bays, yep had a bad morning!!! Alan
  12. Gear linkage advice please, when I had Transit vans I found that if I kept the linkage lubricated that it kept changing gear very smooth, told about doing it by a RAC guy who came out when I couldn’t get any gear because it was too dry. My CRV is the best car I have ever had, the finish and all the extras and the doors shut better then a Golf!! My only little niggle is the gear change can be a little stiff, can someone tell me where I can find the gear linkage so I can spray it with Duck Oil please. Alan
  13. My name is Alan and I have a 2005 CRV, had it just a year after years of having a Ford Transit!! Like driving a Rolls!! Love it to bits!! My passion is dogs and dog training and I have an afican grey parrot.
