  1. Anyone able to tell me the cost of a CR-V i-CTDi in 2005 seems such a well appointed cars so must have cost a far bit then.
  2. Those tyres get a good review don't they and the price is very good the only thing that puts me off a little in where they are made.

  6. Gave my CRV a good run yesterday, to blow the cob webs out, did as you guys said, had a few puffs of black smoke and then it was clear and seemed sweeter. Today no black smoke 👏
  7. Can anyone tell me the size of the nuts/covers to hold the upper engine rain/dust cover in please on a 2005 CRV please. Also where I might get them looked on ebay couldn't find anything. Thank you

  11. Gave under the boot a good spray and it certainley seems to have done the job👍
  12. How should a diesel car be driven? Over the years by various 'esperts' I've been told to get the best and a long life from them drive them hard all the time others have said softly softly and still other softly most of the time but give them a good hard drive sometimes to clean the pipes out. So which is right please.

  14. That's unbelievable, I've only heard good things about Honda and Honda cars but stories like yours are worrying to say the least. I've never dealt with a main dearler or the like so can't make any comment other than feel for you.

    Pay up!!

    You get put inside for 17 years for something you didn't do and when you get out because they made a mistake, there's talk about you paying for accommodation etc. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! out of any compensation you may get.
  18. If you have seen this on Yesterday have you noticed how few Honda's there are? Is it becasue they are too bad/good to be on there or that Honda owners don't part with them????

  22. 1st a Armstrong Siddeley 1947 £15 !! passed everything on the road expect petrol stations!! Wolseley 6/80 1953 (around) with starting handle £45 ! Fords - over the years Consul (2), Escort (2), Contina (of course I always wanted a 1600E), Escort Van. and Transits mk 5, 6 and 7. Hillman Minx, Hunter, Avenger. Vauxhalls - Victor 101, Astra Max van - Volvo 240GL, Volvo 740, the vans were all used for carrying my dogs. I was way ahead of my time driving Electric ....... albit my milk float!! I do still have a tax disc from about 15 years ago displayed on my 2005 CRV which I've had for a year and for a car 18 years old is something special the condition, finish and equipment would still put many younger cars to same ... and have no intention of going electric again 😀
  23. Another thing I was told was that I keep under the bonnet to dry so on my transit over time ihe linkage jamed up and after a good spray of duck oil was good to go again. And your right about driving style I found it very strange to start with after a ford!!
