  1. HONDA CR-V MK3 19" ALLOY WHEELS & TYRES

    5 X 114.3 PCD
    245/45 R19

    ACCELERA PHI wheels.

I've just removed these from our CR-V, which we bought last month as reverting the car to smaller standard wheels for my wife to drive. They are genuine Honda wheels, made by Speedline in Italy.

    19 x 7.5
    5 x 114.3 PCD
    ET50

The tyres are all different brands: Toyo, Continental, Pirelli, Dunlop
    Tyre size: 245/45 R19
Tread depths (from Halfords report): 5mm, 3mm, 3mm, 2mm (I don't know which depth relates to which brand).

The rears aren't too bad, the fronts have a degree of curb rash, see photos.

Collection preferred from Canterbury, Kent, or can arrange a courier for £40.

  2. I've opened the boot by crawling through the back seat and using the latch release behind the small cover.

I've sprayed some WD40 inside the cover onto the latch release, and some silicon grease onto the latch itself.

With the boot open, I've used a screwdriver to close the latch, and pressed the boot button and it unlocked. Tried this a few times, then the button stopped unlocking the latch. So, an issue with the button itself or the electrics which open the latch?

  3. I've had my 2007 CR-V nearly a month now, and twice in that time I've gone to open the boot, but it doesn't open.

The car is unlocked and all doors open, but not the boot. The first time it happened I put things in the back seat instead, then tried the boot again (I think) the next day and it opened. However, yesterday I went to put things in but it wouldn't open no matter how many times I locked/unlocked the car.

Is this a known issue? It's going to be my wife's main vehicle once her car has sold, so I'm trying to get anything sorted before she uses it.

  4. I've recently purchased a 2007 2.0 EX petrol, which has a dirty lump of sponge stuck inside the fuel flap (photo attached).

Is this standard, or has a previous owner added this for some reason? It's not something I've had on any other car I've owned.
