  1. That’s what I thought. Honda garage just said it was flat and just recharged it. They said to always start the engine as there’s a lot of electronics running when you just switch the ignition on. Never know batteries use that much in 45yrs+ of motoring.
  2. Hi folks, my latest car’s a 22 reg. last Saturday drove about 12 miles, stopped in car park whilst the better half went to shop so switched off and power on to listen to car radio. After about 4 minutes radio went dead. Could not restart it. Dashboard lights would come on but engine would not turn over. AA man called out and battery failed test. Car started with his booster and driven to local Honda garage. Just been told the battery only needed a charge and could easily be depleted after listening to the radio for only 4 minutes. I’m not convinced. Anyone else had poor battery life problems?
  3. Brand new unused Honda Civic rear bumper bought for a 2005 Civic. Never got the chance to fit it so now no longer required. £50 plus postage if required or deliver locally for a small fee. May be able to meet up Middlesbrough to Bolton this weekend.
  4. Cheers Trevor.
  5. Just had to replace my CRV with another, this time the 2ltr petrol I-MMD version. Now need to get used to a new driving style.
  6. My electric steering warning light comes on intermittently and steering seems to momentarily fight against the direction I’m turning in. Not a big steer, just like when changing lanes. It comes on, goes off then car drives normally for miles. I understand Honda diagnostics may be needed to find the actual fault. However, this happened just 2 days ago after a service so wondering if it was an electrical glitch and hoping maybe disconnecting battery may reset the problem. Open to any ideas from anyone who’s had something similar.
  7. Hi folks, just decided to keep my current CRV 1.5 Turbo AWD auto for quite a few years to come. I’ve had 4 Civic auto petrol cars previously. Now on the CRV which I’ve had for just over 3 years and very pleased with it.
