I posted this in January and maybe I didn't explain it correctly I now have a photo of what i see when I turn the car off, it's not every journey but have no idea what it means, it is not in the handbook.

I have just purchased a new jazz hybrid, can someone tell me why on some journeys when I turn the car off an image appears on the dashboard showing the hybrid battery in red, I assume it means it's hot, but we are in winter should it be hot? Do I need to do anything?
