  1. Hi. yes everything else works fine and fuses checked by myself and garage, its just those mentioned but it all started when the alternator went kaput and lit the dash up like a xmas tree. Yes, the car was told it had a new battery. i have disconnected the black wire on the battery many times, removed the negative cable from the battery many times. Tried the leave ignition on without running for 10 mins, cycle ignition thing 5-6 times without starting. The garage i took it too showed me the computer readout and it was green for everything. No faults showed up at all
  2. @OLSTERMEISTER civic dtec 1.6. new battery new alternator new battery sensor auto stop start still not working. car has been told it has a new battery. also almost around same time folding mirrors, electric windows and alarm wont work fob has new battery tried all the reset procedures for all the above issues. im almost a grand in on both problems and no one can fix it. any ideas?
  3. Hi all. thanks for the in. i have Civic 1.6 Dtec. Love the car hate the gremlins. auto stop start issues are killing me. £600 down with new alternator, new battery and now new battery sensor and it still isnt working properly. Very intermittent but mostly not working. car has been on OBD and there are no faults showing. Car has been told it has a new battery. Can anyone throw some light on this?
