intermittent but very frustrating starting problems every so often.

Could this be that I need a new mains fuel relay? 

Hi Phil, assuming you haven't had this issue fixed yet, I would certainly say it's the fuel relay, in some rare cases it is the connection to the top of the fuel tank. I offer fuel pump relay repair service available to all coupe owners on my community. So I would like to extend that offer to this Honda community too, if that's permitted by admin 😉 so anybody that is suffering with an intermittent starting fault just PM me your details and I will send you a repaired one in exchange for your old relay, just for the cost of postage. 😉
