May 3, 20232 yr Hi Everyone. Driving back home yesterday after a 40mile run my engine stopped about 500 metres from my house. It wouldn't start again (plenty of fuel). After 5 mins it started again then just died straight away and did this a few times. After it cooled the engine started and runs fine but I have an orange engine light on. Any ideas? Fuel filter maybe? I'm reluctant to take it for a long run. Thanks in advance...It's the 2.2 diesel Edited May 3, 20232 yr by Jamie Kent
May 8, 20232 yr We had same problem. Filled with BP rather than usual supermarket fuel and all returned to normal with light out.
May 10, 20232 yr Hi Jamie Quite possibly the Filter but as suggested its wise to have a Diagnostic check to find the cause , last thing you need is for the engine to cut out on any journey especially one of these smart motorways, a Diagnostic check should be able to pin point the problem Hope all goes well for you BAZZER RN 1
