January 27, 20241 yr Hi, I recently bought a Honda Jazz 2013 model which has run for 105k miles. While driving I hear a metal rattling sound in 3rd, 4th, 5th gears, only at certain rpm like 2000 where it feels like there is some load on the engine. I have no idea where the sound is coming from as it's not there while the car is not running even if I rev the engine. The mechanic also couldn't spot the reason. I put my phone inside the bonnet and then drove the car to capture the sound. Attached is the sound capture from inside the bonnet. In 4th gear I rev the engine in intervals to capture the sound. Can anyone please help me spot where the sound comes from?
