2005 C-V SE Executive, interior lights don't come on.

Have a new, to me, CR-V - but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get

the interior lights to come on when the front doors open.

 

There are just two switches, right and left, on the interior light - and they just

turn the individual lights on and off; and if you leave them switehed on they

drain the battery.

 

C'mon, I'm missing something here.  Will someobody please help me?

If the lights operate ok using the switch on the light unit, take a look at the door mounted switches which operate when doors opened.
