Tambo76 Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 (edited) 2014 Civic 1.6 idtec - hatchback Hi everyone, ive had the passenger top strut mount changed a few days ago due to a knocking noise at very low speeds when turning/parking. The garage said the top mount was faulty when they had taken it off & the noise has gone from the passenger side & son has £200+. The problem now is im sure the same noise is coming from the drivers side (same noise). Im assuming it’s the same issue - top strut mount. Can the original problem with the passenger top mount mask the drivers side knock before it was changed?? Also would most people have changed both at the same time so its an even change of parts at the same time for year of car & mileage?? I know the last question is kind of rhetorical!… Any help appreciated. Cheers Edited August 3, 2024 by Tambo76
