Hello, my wife recently bought a 2020 Jazz and a week later I bought a 2023 Jazz Crosstar. They are both automatic and they have much to commend them. However, we have both been unnverved when the Road Departure Mitigation System and the Lane Keeping Assist System have sudddenly kicked in. We're both in favour of staying safe and keeping to our side of the road and between the white lines on bigger roads. But in our view the sudden and rapid steering wheel vibrations with the former system and the 'tactile, audible and visual alerts' with the latter system run the risk of you being momentarily panicked. We discovered you can turn off RDMS via the driver information interface, but it is apparently turned on again every time you start the vehicle. Does anyone know how these two features - which are obviously designed to be helpful - can be disabled?

Thanks in anticipation.

I feel exactly the same as you. Please let me know if you find a way to permanently disable them. I have recently bought a jazz crosstar. Otherwise every else is fine.
