Lock and walk away function on Honda Eny1

I recently bought my Eny1 ,,,which I absolutely enjoy driving

I noticed that the lock and walk away function was not working ... it locks the boot but not the car and both Honda tech support and my Honda dealer agree that it should but cannot resolve the problem

Does anyone else have this problem?
