  2. Hi Alan - I'm sorry again for the delay; I only see a reply if I go into the site and, during the week, I keep forgetting to go and check - with lots going on !! I have looked for the actual Part Number - even Acura which I think superceded the Honda Legend, but I'm always told the ABS sensor is discontinued. It just doesn't make sense, that Honda would only use this one ABS sensor on the one model and nothing else, so I find it hard to believe that I can't source one from any where.... it really is SO frustrating !! I'm so grateful to you for your time in trying to help me, thank you again. Tina

  4. Me and the missus have owned this car for 15 years, we bought it with 14000 miles on in 2010 and it was my pride and joy. We are moving to Devon in the next few weeks and unfortunately we have to let it go as its not really suitable for the local roads down there. This has been my wifes daily driver for the most part as I have a company car. Its done 97000 miles and been serviced every 10k (some main dealer when it was newer). Its had the transmission fluid changed and Ive recently spruced it up with replacement bumpers and headlight restoration. It has had some paint but in general its a really tidy example with none of the usual water ingress that seems to be common. Air con works but needs re-gassing. Absolutley bomb proof this car. If there are no takers on here its getting traded in for the wifes new car. Sensible offers please. Photos to follow. A chance to own a genuine low mileage 2 owner car thats been looked after and cared for. Its not been hammered or driven hard. I even put the original Bridgestone Potenza tyres on it until they stopped making them. Message me if youre interested. Cheers

  8. Could the ECON mode or other settings be influencing this behavior?
  9. Hi everyone, I’ve noticed an issue with my Honda CR-V Diesel 1.6 i-DTEC while idling. The instantaneous fuel consumption fluctuates significantly, pulsing between 0 and 20 liters, even though the engine RPM remains stable. This behavior has me puzzled, and I’m wondering what might be causing it. I’ve considered factors like the ECON mode, auxiliary systems, DPF regeneration, and potential sensor glitches, but I’m not sure if these are the main reasons. Does anyone else with the same model experience this issue? Are there known solutions or insights into what might be going on? Any advice or shared experiences would be much appreciated—thanks in advance!
  10. Why does the Honda CR-V Diesel’s instantaneous fuel consumption sometimes fluctuate significantly between 0 and 20 liters per hour while idling, even when the engine's RPM is steady?
  11. hi so I have two remote fobs for a 2009 Honda Civic and they are beginning to not work very well. You have to press loads of times for the thing to lock or unlock. I have obviously cleaned the connections and changed the batteries, but they must be 16 years old.....so they are wearing out. so my question is this, can you replace the fobs 3rd party without having to pay the million pound to Honda? I noticed Amazon selling the shell to these fobs, but they have like 3 star ratings so I dont trust them. The keys still work in the doors, but would prefer the fobs to work thanks
  12. Have you looked at sites in the EU or the US
  13. Hi, Philip, I too have an ENY:1 the figures you give do resemble the real world, sadly the WLTP rubbish is way, way off. It should be stopped as it gives one a false impression of achievable range, a range one could never reach. You can however gain a little mileage by pre-conditioning the vehicle prior to a journey, especially by charging fully and leaving the charger on and connected, obviously, this uses mains power to pre-heat the battery and cabin, this I have found gives about 10-15% extra miles when in ECO. Sadly, the ombudsman will do nothing until we get a more suitable way of range indication. Winter doesn't last too long anyway so hang in there. What's not fit for purpose is the WLTP not the car. Honda have to comply with this ridiculous way of range estimation as all manufacturers do.
  14. Hi Alan sorry I didn’t reply earlier, a manic week !! thank you so much for your time. I have just tried all three sites, but nothing is available on there. best wishes tiz
  15. My 2021 CR-V went into Brayley’s Honda, Ewell on 17 December 2024 and they identified the problem as the Brake Pedal Simulator. The part was ordered on 18 December, none were available in the UK so the part was put on ‘back order’ and finally arrived from Japan on 14 March. With the repair completed, I got the car back on 19 March 2025 after 92-days! Have to say that Brayley’s, who thought I qualified for a complementary hire car were pretty good but Honda UK were awful. They said that I was not entitled to a hire car as my vehicle was out of warranty even though the repair was being fixed as a ‘warranty’ repair and Honda were picking up the full cost of the part and labour. Brayley’s loaned me a vehicle for 4-days so that I could visit my 99-year-old father on his birthday but I had to pay £30 to cover insurance. The MOT was due while the vehicle was in the garage and Brayley’s picked up the cost as a good will gesture – well done Brayley’s. One of the reasons I purchased a Honda in the first place was due to their reliability…..As I left the service area/showroom one of the sales people ask me if I wanted to discuss burying a new Honda – what do you think I said?
  16. I bought this car in March 2024 new. I was told that it would lose miles if I used the aircon. I was not told that in Winter it would lose many many miles Are you experiencing the same? 250 published miles went down to 160 miles on full charge. I have spoken to Honda and they say there is nothing wrong with the car.!! My point is that this car is not fit for purpose Does anyone have any comments? I am waiting for the Motor Omdudsman to respond Regards Philip

  20. Good afternoon, I have a Honda Jazz 1.3, 2019 model. It's a lovely car, my 4th Jazz! Recently, the car has developed an issue with the steering, usually when the car is cold, such as first drive of the day. When I apply lock, there is a loud clunk which can be felt through the steering wheel. The more lock I apply, the worse it gets. Driving in a straight line, or with little lock, there is no problem. This issue seems to go away when the vehicle is warm. Naturally, I'm concerned as I feel this could be a serious issue. At first, I thought I'd run over a large stone or something, or uneven ground, that's how it feels. The clunk occurs in forward and reverse gears. Has anybody else had this issue and what was the remedy? Thanking you in anticipation, Des Roberts.
  21. have you tried ebay? https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=39680-TLO-GO1YB&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4582968.m570.l1313
  22. You can try on eBay (discount code at the top of the page) and still find Honda genuine fluids on there. I would definitely stick to genuine fluids if possible
  23. If the symbol disappears once you have the brake pedal depressed then no problem but if still illuminated then could be a faulty pedal switch - try pressing harder on the brake pedal as well
  24. Hi....welcome to the club Once Honda is in your blood you'll always come back to one.
  25. Hi, I have recently bought a 1994 Honda Accord Aerodeck cb9, is there anyone breaking one of these? Need the control unit under the front passenger seat. TIA, Majid.
  26. Hello, I live in Cornwall and recently acquired a 2012 1.4 Honda Jazz. I had a couple of Accords back in the 80’s and quite a few Honda bikes.
  27. Hi Tiz, have you looked at these ites?? https://hondaspareparts.co.uk/collections/discontinued-parts?srsltid=AfmBOooXh0sPT4xdU8LmRqY3qqXYnlAdsMZQs1kzkyU7VYgAjns1oGDl https://www.parts-honda.uk/
  28. Honda claim that only genuine honda 0W-40 should be used on the CVT transmission, stating that non-geuine oils can adversely effect the operation of the transmission. Is this true & if so where can the genuine fluid be purchase ata sensible (i.e non-Honda) price? Thank you
  29. Hi, I wonder if anyone can help please? My mum has had her Honda Legend since almost new and an ABS light has just come on. Apparently, it is the rear, nearside one and the part number is 57475-SZ3-010 i went onto EBay and put the reg number in. A different part came up, but it said it was compatible. Unfortunately, when I took it to the garage, we found it doesn’t fit and now too long ago to return! Honda say it’s been discontinued, as do some other sites. The car is in such a great condition … it’s only done around 58,000, so it’s really frustrating to have this problem in sourcing the replacement part. I thought I’d join your Group and see if anyone can help please? Thank you. Tiz
