  1. Past hour
  2. I agree with you Alan, it was by far the best of all the generations so far
  3. Today
  4. Finally found the problem. It was my passenger’s rare ABS sensor, which had debris and was cleaned properly. All warning lights never came back.
  5. Last week
  6. I liked my Volvo's and Transit's but my first Honda a 2005 CRV is without question IMO the best car ever. The extras and finish is just the best

  9. Yup. Why can't you send me yours with a courier?
  10. There one in Doncaster as well, cheaper but you have to pick it up. Thin kit was under £40. What's that about 60 odd miles from you.
  11. Thanks 😊 expensive though

  13. Hi, I recently changed my Honda civic 2020 battery and after some hours my Amber warning light pops up so I took it to a battery specialist to make sure the battery was a good fit and all seemed fine so I was then advised to remove battery connections for 10 minutes so it restart everything things but Amber warning light still pops up at random but car seems to drive pretty well and I’m worried whenever light comes on
  14. Anyone fitted and wired a Android replacement Head unit to their MK2 CR-V ?
  15. More than likely this is the DPF regenerating and while that is active then possibly it will not allow the service reset to occur at the same time?
  16. wasn't sure what the arrows surrounding the spanner meant so looked it up: AI Overview The image displays an icon representing a wrench encircled by two arrows in a cyclical motion This icon typically symbolizes: Settings or Options: The wrench often denotes tools or configurations, and the arrows can imply a refresh or update of these settings. System Maintenance or Repair: It can indicate an ongoing process related to system checks, repairs, or optimizations. Automatic Updates or Synchronization: The circular arrows suggest a recurring or automatic process, potentially related to software updates or data synchronization. Loading or Processing: In some contexts, it can signify that a system is busy processing or loading information, particularly when related to system configurations or background tasks
  17. Trust you put the problem into good old Youtube?? There is bit on there about restting the service indicator
  18. Hi all, My car used to display an orange spanner symbol in the centre part of the Speedo clock when it needed a service. After servicing the car I could always reset the counter. But recently I notice that the service counter is blank (3 dashes) and doesn't appear to be counting anymore. Is there a way of re-activating it as I'm concerned it also has a link to the DPF regen system?
  19. I am a new member and wanted to ask if anyone would like to buy the above?

  22. Honda vehicles are widely regarded as reliable and dependable cars, known for their longevity and solid build quality. While not always the most exciting to drive, they are generally considered a safe and practical choice, especially for those prioritizing dependability and low maintenance. Here's a more detailed look at Honda's reputation: Reliability: Honda consistently ranks high in reliability surveys and has a strong reputation for producing vehicles that last a long time with minimal issues. What Car? reports that Honda's latest models and older models (like the 2012-2018 CR-V and 2012-2017 Civic) are highly rated for reliability. The brand experiences a low fault rate, with the main areas of concern being the 12-volt battery and non-engine electrics. Honda typically covers the cost of repairs in a large percentage of cases, and many cars are back on the road quickly. Honda's commitment to quality control in manufacturing contributes to its reliability. Engine Performance: Honda is known for its efficient and reliable engine technology, including their hybrid powertrains. The e:HEV powertrain in the CR-V, for example, is a testament to their focus on optimizing engine performance, fuel economy, and longevity. Considerations: While generally reliable, some specific models or years might have reported issues. Some older Honda models might have issues with the 1.5L engine or head gasket failure. In terms of driver assistance features, some basic trims might lack advanced safety systems like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking. Overall: Honda cars generally offer a good balance of reliability, practicality, and fuel efficiency, making them a popular choice for many drivers. While they might not always be the most exciting or feature-rich vehicles on the market, their reputation for dependability and longevity is well-deserved.

  24. Hi, I am looking for the picnic table that came with the first generation crv up until the year 2006. If anyone has one to giveaway or sell cheap please message me as soon as possible
  25. I purchased a 2010 Si last year and like the other posts on here found the car to be solid and well built, did have a slight noise from the rear parcel shelf and thought it was not fitting correctly ,turns out the bracket that the passenger seat fits in to needed some lubrication , did this and no more rear noise. Doors and windows well solid and the overall view from the driver seat is excellent due to the large windscreen. I wish I had gone EX for all the extra bits and the sunroofs. Personally I like the curved body on the Jazz it does give more headroom and space inside, oh I am 6'3 and have plenty of leg room.
  26. 2010 Si model - 1.4 petrol - Around town also manage to achieve between 45 -48 mpg , even with air con on still manage low 40's but the car was recently serviced a few months back..
  27. Glad you mentioned this my 2010 has a few rust bubbles around that area so possible common fault. Located a hole inside the petrol cap and my garage sprayed anti rust inhibitor in there and sealed up the hole with some bonding..I am also looking at how to remove these
