  3. I own a 10th gen Civic 2021 on 43,000 miles with 17” unmarked Alloy Wheels and 4 very good Michelin Cross Climate 2 tyres. We ( the wife and I ) have just retired and will now be covering lots of miles and in a perfect world I do wish my wheels were 16” just for the little extra comfort. If any of you know where I could locate a set of 16” in lovely condition please get in touch. I have tried a well known auction site a few times recently but the wheels I find always appear rough. I look forward to hearing from someone at some point. kindest regards, Pete.
  4. Can only find two listed - Fuse 3 (20 amp) in dashboard fusebox
  5. Hi Eban Only the rear caliper pistons should need winding back - the fronts will just push straight back in. Usually best to release the bleed nipple when retracting the pistons and topping up afterwards. Makes it easier to push in and also removes the fluid that has sat in the caliper which is required to refresh the old fluid every so often. In addition, it does not send fluid back through the system in reverse which can sometimes (but now quite rarely) flip the master cylinder seals and also cause damage to the ABS hydraulic system. The clunking sounds like a worn CV joint which is causing the noise.
  6. Thats £82.50 per tyre and very good for Avon.....great tyres! Have just fitted Avons to my motorbike and shame they have only just now stopped making them in the UK 😞
  7. HaHa.....that is absolutely brilliant and must have been fun to make 🙂
  8. I hope it reads positively? Which I'm sure it does as Honda have always boasted high safety standards
  9. Hi....welcome to the club! Yes, Lexus have been very slow to respond to the security threat and I think this has put a lot of people off from buying one....especially now the insurance is increasing because of the thefts I don't personally think it is too much of a problem with Honda, maybe the thieves find them a bit boring to steal 🙂 Superb choice of powerful cars prior to the Lexus and now the Honda Good to have you onboard

  11. Hello, This may be an obvious question, but are UK / US engine parts interchangeable? I'm helping a friend with a head gasket change, and I can't seem to find a 1.6L head gasket on rockauto, and I'm not sure where to find a reputable vendor. The websites I've tried have been decent, but nothing I feel confident in buying. He has a 2006 Hatchback, 1.6L, for reference. I would appreciate any advice you could share, as your personal experience means a lot! Thanks, Caleab
  12. Smoke coming out of the exhaust 4 different times as I was driving I would feel the car go a bit ruff then smoke foot down smoke and a bit limp or missing then after 30 seconds to a minute it would go back to normal fine for a few weeks then same thing no engine lights or codes then today service and MOT emissions perfect but the oil level on the dipstick was higher than it should by about 3lt even though nobody had put any oil in since the last service and MOT and still no lights or codes
  13. Found the issue of a brand new battery drain after 2-3 days . Being the fuse for the interior lights and the radio - not looked into yet due to the weather only removed the fuse as a temp fix. As far as i know all the interior lights work correctly and so does the basic stereo . What could i be looking for as the issue draining the battery. 2007 honda accord 2.0 155bhp saloon
  14. Hi Fred, Sorry for late reply, if I remember correctly that Honda had a recall on the Drivers Air Bag problem causing the light to come on, it might be worth contacting Honda Main Dealer to find out about this recall, Hope this helps BAZZER RN 1

  16. I checked Green Flag out who I found out are Motoring Assit offered me a good range of services for my car and the wife's for £16 month.. Job done!! Phoned RAC to cancel been with them 22 years bear in mind my renewal went from £29.50 to £46.99 and after a phone call last week went down to £31.00 they start talking about going down lower if I stay, I stopped the guy and said I knew he was doing his job but not to insult me with offers when the powers that be at the RAC would have been happy to screw me for £46.99. Asked him to get one of the 'top people' to call me so I could tell them my thoughts. There's no reward in being loyal these days and if you are they play on the idea that you won't leave. Alan

  27. 2010 Honda CR-V Auto Whilst the rear sensors are very loud, the front resemble the squeak of a dying mouse. Honda said that both sounds are made by the same unit and a replacement unit will cost over £350. Any ideas for amplifying the front sensors? Thanks in anticipation Brian Pfeiffer
