Have been an owner of a 1992 Accord 2.0i Coupe Auto since 2001 having acquired it from my late father in law who bought it from new.It's been incredibly reliable and has only done 125,000 miles which after 26 years is nothing,Great engine,box and is a dream to drive,never missing a beat.Having bought a Seat Ateca last march though I've hardly used the Honda so made the decision recently to 'sorn' it,allowed the insurance and MOT to expire and it now sits covered up in my garage awaiting a decision as to what to do with it.Every week I turn it over and let it run for 20 minutes or so on my drive to avoid any problems with seizure etc. I'm very reluctant to get rid - not s…

Hi everyone, I'm a first time Honda owner having just bought a 2015 Honda Civic 1.8 ivtech. Enjoying the car so far. My only issue is that i t bought it had built in sat nav but it may just too early a model. Is there an easy way of getting it added or am i just better using my phone

very grateful to be part of this owners club. I've seen a tidy 2009 Accord 2.2 diesel with just over 100k on the clock well looked after with full SH through Honda. Keen to get others views if I should buy it? I hear there are a isolated accounts of dpf issues (but that can affect all modern diesels i suppose!). If I do proceed, what should I do in the first month of ownership? is there a top 10 list of dos and don'ts? again, thank you for having me join the club.

I will need a number of rear suspension arm bushes Nearside and Offside, and those for trailing arm bushes plus bolts etc. Does anyone have any idea where I should try to get these? Any advice would be welcome. Bear in mind that I'm not used to going online very often to source parts.....

Hey folks! After owning several civic EJ9's for the first 4 years of my driving career, I managed to snag myself a DC5 Integra Type R. Owned it for about a year now but finally getting round to putting myself out there! I'm pretty new to the K series motor and will have to beg for patience when it comes to knowledge because i'm completely new to actually trying to learn about my car and all it's glory! Hi Everyone, My name is Steve from Reading. We have a 130k miles Honda FR-V 2.0 VTEC that we bought as a family runabout 10yrs ago, we have put 70k of those miles on it with little trouble. It is battle-scarred but reliable, and does a great job of towing our small caravan. I do a lot of my own home mechanics apart from big jobs which need a vehicle lift. I was a long time member of the Honda Karma forum but on checking that today found it was closed down, so came here instead.

Hello ! I am new to this site. I have just inherited a 'P' reg Prelude 2.2 VTEC. It's a beautiful car and is a good runner with a recent MOT. However it needs a paint job (the lacquer has peeled) and the headlamps have been bodged so that needs sorting out. Only mechanical issue is that there is a loud squeal on starting that fades after 30 secs or so - I'm told it's the water pump bearing that settles down once the water gets round? Otherwise it's in good nick. I really don't know whether to sell it to an enthusiast as-is (if so where do I advertise it), do it up and sell it then, or just keep it. I have a 2017 HONDA HR-V BLACK EDITION I-DTEC 120 (1.6cc) & have ongoing issues with the idle stop and wondering if this is a common problem? Over the past 2 years it’s been in the Garage at least 6 times for the same issue or issues relating to the idle stop and is booked back into garage agin tomorrow. The idle stop works for so long (anything from a few days to max 6 months) and then randomly stops working with a dash warning showing low battery charge. It was last in the garage 2 weeks ago when they again charged the battery overnight, fault again seemed to be rectified but 10 days & 300 miles later the same issue.
