CR-V 2016 to 2022

I have a 12v socket in the boot with a 100w inverter. I have replaced it a few times as the socket has had to be replaced a few times and the dealer has said they won't do it under warrenty again. I have tried to find the fuse for it just incase it is just that, but it isn't mentioned in the book or anywhere online. It mentions the 2 in the front of the car, but I'm not sure if it is run off one of them.

I locked the car as normal but on my return found the car unlocked with all the windows fully down and the boot and sunroof open. How could this happen?

Hi all, I have a 2016 Honda CR-V Black Edition Manual Petrol that has gone into limp mode following an electrical issue. The battery had to be charging once in a while otherwise the battery would have died. The nail in the coffin was when all the lights on the dashboard was lit up everything from AWD, engine management, you name it after starting the car. The local garage suspected the ecu was damaged due to a short, but after diagnostic from Honda there was nothing wrong with the ecu, but they didn’t say what the problem was overall. The garage is now suspecting that there’s damage to a wiring loom or a short somewhere else that has caused the car to go …

Hi all New to the forum and wondered how people have fared with the hybrid CRV. After a lot of narrowing down, it's between a 2019 hybrid CRV (58k) for £20,300 and a Skoda Karoq 1.5 petrol for £18000, both from main dealers. I'd be particularly interested to know: 1) how reliable have people found the hybrid CRV? 2) how comfortable have they found the seats? 3) how have people found Honda dealers (I've heard expensive) and whether people are happy taking their hybrids to trusted local mechanics instead. According to available info my 2018 CRV should have Android Auto but it doesn't show up when I connect.

I have recently changed my phone to a Galaxy A55 5g and it will not load onto the info system by a usb cable, I have spent 3 days sat in the car trying everything I could find on the social media site to no avail. Am I alone with this problem and does anyone have a fix? 😭

Hi, I'm interested in buying a 1.6 diesel Honda crv 2016-2018. My budget is anything between 10k to 20k depending on how much I can save before my wife is due in 5 months and if I get the rest on finance (if it makes sense to). I have a 2015 HRV that has a continuous puddle in the boot well. It is a manufacturer/ design problem which has no other reason for happening. My dealer confirms that while it is more prevalent in HRV's, they have also had some CRV's with the same problem. At the moment the earliest vehicle I have heard about is 2010 and the latest is 2017. I hoping for more people to come forward and report so I can escalate this. Honda UK have wiped their hands of this but given this is an age problem they haven't dealt with it, and needs attention. Hi all, I have just purchase a Nextbase dash cam model 422GW with front and rear cameras and a parking mode. My question is which fuses should I tap into to power up the cameras on start up and what fuse for when the engine is stopped and parked. Any help would be appreciated

Hi All I'm confused. Honda and the Handbook says this model a 2017 reg on a 2018 model (petrol) should have DLR lights on. The fuse is OK, being no. 10 on drivers Footwell. The front 'strip'lights under the dipped beam only come on with the side lights. Our light stalk has only side light and headlight options, NO Auto. There are no lights on 'all the time' on the front of the vehicle when driven, which is my outstanding of day time running lights which I assume us like the Volvos back in the 1980s. So questions are Is my understanding of DLRs correct? - Honda says yes? do you have lights on all the time on the same mode…

Has anyone had a problem with a differential/difficulty getting part for the CR-V AWD? Been told I need a new one after 30,000 miles and I have to wait until June/July 2024 (not a typo) for the part. Honda not helping and happy to let me struggle without a vehicle for that very long period. Unable to drive car due to safety issues.

I have a 2018 crv, currently has 62000 miles. I've never been pleased with the low beam brightness. Its fitted with H11 55 watt halogen bulbs which look OK. Looking online I can upgrade to H11 exeon or H11 LED's, but both seem to be 60 watts, and a huge amountof lumins more. I don't want to dazzle on coming traffic but I do want to have brighter lights without having the need for adaptors. Has anyone changed/upgraded their lights. Alternatively is new halogens the solution? I've fitted blue bulbs in the past which I didn't think made much difference. Full beam is fine.

My electric steering warning light comes on intermittently and steering seems to momentarily fight against the direction I’m turning in. Not a big steer, just like when changing lanes. It comes on, goes off then car drives normally for miles. I understand Honda diagnostics may be needed to find the actual fault. However, this happened just 2 days ago after a service so wondering if it was an electrical glitch and hoping maybe disconnecting battery may reset the problem. Open to any ideas from anyone who’s had something similar.

Hi everyone, I would appreciate some advice with a problem I'm having with my front 12v power socket. It worked intermittently when you turn the plug inside it. Now it's dead. I would like to replace it but I would need help from someone who has carried out this repair. I have attached a picture of the type and placement of the socket. Thanks in advance.

I have a 2017 CRV SE1.6 diesel. There is an intermittent groan / low pitched whistle (loud) that starts after it has warmed up (typically 30+ mins of driving). It stops when you brake and also when you steer left. It seems to happen most when you’ve been driving at speed, brake and then start to pull away - a little like something is rubbing and stuck (it doesn’t sound like grinding though), but also happens when moving at fairly high speeds and for long periods of time - 40-50mph and below. I’ve recently had the brake pads and discs replaced to try and solve this but it hasn’t helped. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks for any suggestions.

The silver button on the handbrake of my 2017 CR-V 1.5 se has started to delaminate/lose its plating - has anyone else had this issue? Did you manage to get a replacement button? Where from? Is it much of a job to replace?

Hi there, I am about to hard wire my dashcam to the car via the interior fusebox. In the wiring diagram one of the wires goes to the Batt+ fuse location. I've looked in the manual and can't find any reference to this fuse in the layout diagram. Has anyone hard wired their dashcam and can help me with the location?

I have a '21 plate CR-V Ex fitted with a Heads Up Display. When switched on the screen pops up in front of the steering wheel. Last month however this stopped working; it deploys about 25%, judders and then returns to about 20% deployed meaning it can't be read. Local Honda dealer said that while the projector is working the screen is somehow jammed and they can't fix it. The drive mechanism is a sealed unit and can't be taken apart to see what's wrong. Quote for replacement is £3800 !! Has anyone had this problem? How do you remove the unit from the dash? Have seen a picture of one on eBay and it seems to be held together by screws, not a sealed unit. Any help would…

Morning All, Need some help please. My wife's 65 plate CRV is stop start and yesterday the auto stop/start disabled light came on with the A circled next to a battery symbol. I was due to look at it this weekend hopefully but this morning the battery is dead and the car won't turn over. I'm assuming the battery needs replacing and looking at Halfords they do stop start batteries that fit, but warn they may require coding to the vehicle. Can anyone confirm that I may well need to have the battery coded to the vehicle? Many thanks Phil

Has anyone had issues with this? Just keeps saying no internet connection check time settings even though there is a very good wifi signal and the time settings are automatically applied and correct. thanks
