Jazz / Crosstar 2020 onwards

  1. Started by AndyGH,

Hi Car is Crossstar 2021. Something shocked me today. I picked up my keys and wandered outside to the car and found three of the windows open (all the way down) and the car unlocked. Rear offside window still closed. OK, I could easily have caught the unlock button on the fob but windows down!! I did notice that the windows had obviously not been open for a long time as nothing was wet inside and it had been raining an hour or so back. Have I missed reading about a feature somewhere? Andy

I just wondered if anyone else has had an issue with this.I had a 2020 Honda Jazz 1.5 petrol hybrid last year.i experienced a rattle on the front passenger window which I had to get sorted, then shortly after the front drivers side was the same which Honda sorted out under the warranty. In May this year I updated for a like for like 2021 plate with only 5k on the clock.I can now hear a slight rattling noise from inside the front passenger side under the window.Doesn’t seem to be there when the window is open!!! When I first took my 2020 plate up to have the window looked at there was another guy booking in with exactly the same issue with his window!!!Has anyone else had p…

Hi, my battery went flat, after using the car the day before. AA came and charged it, with no explanation for the cause. With all the rain I was wondering if there is a problem with the hybrid battery taking on water? Any ideas appreciated, cheers

I have just purchased a new jazz hybrid, can someone tell me why on some journeys when I turn the car off an image appears on the dashboard showing the hybrid battery in red, I assume it means it's hot, but we are in winter should it be hot? Do I need to do anything?

I have a 2-yr old Honda Jazz petrol hybrid and just had a 2-yr service. I notice that the indicated mpg has gone down from 62 to 42 mpg. Can this be true, as it's a big decrease? What could be causing this? I am a cautious driver doing only about 2,500 miles per annum. And I always have the car in 'Economy' mode?

Hello, my wife recently bought a 2020 Jazz and a week later I bought a 2023 Jazz Crosstar. They are both automatic and they have much to commend them. However, we have both been unnverved when the Road Departure Mitigation System and the Lane Keeping Assist System have sudddenly kicked in. We're both in favour of staying safe and keeping to our side of the road and between the white lines on bigger roads. But in our view the sudden and rapid steering wheel vibrations with the former system and the 'tactile, audible and visual alerts' with the latter system run the risk of you being momentarily panicked. We discovered you can turn off RDMS via the driver information interf…

Dear All am soon to take delivery of new Jazz Crosstar which now has the same boot dimensions as other Jazz models. Would anyone be able to recommend the largest possible dog crate that would fit in the boot space? Many thanks David

  12. I own a Honda Jazz Crosstar EX - 2020, 28k. I purchased the car from Nortonway Honda (Chiswick). It was one of their sales demo cars with 6k mileage. I paid cash. On 30/01/2023 the chip that controls the braking system failed. This was diagnosed by my local Honda garage (Newton). Newton also advised they had seen the exact fault on another vehicle just three weeks earlier. They quoted £2064 for parts and labour and advised a likely wait of one month (or longer) for the component to arrive from Japan. I am not prepared to pay for this repair. The chip IMO should not fail so early and there must be a fault in that components manufa…

I'm pxg my Mk4 for the updated iteration (arriving in the UK exactly when?). What do others think about the cosmetic changes? Me? I like the new grill, replacing that bulbous Mis Piggy bonnet. Thank Christ, too, that they've got rid of those hideous toytown catherine wheel trims, though the new ones couldn't be more boring if Honda tried - not a trace of flair or design about them whatsoever... That acreage of black grating at the bottom front is way OTT, far, far too 'busy'. As for the revised grey seat colour I much prefer the present colour - the latest dark seatback inserts lend the cabin a tad gloomy touch I feel... Visually, overall, I still opine that the thing l…
