  1. Hi Shelley Has any work been carried out on the car recently? ...and is the battery in good condition?
  2. I would start by looking at the bulbs in the trailer board If you have a wrong type of bulb then this can cause the problem
  3. Hi....welcoe to the Club Good to have you onboard!
  4. Trevor replied to NigelP's topic in 1992 to 1997 CRX
I would take each component off individually and inspect then reassemble and see if that produces any results Time consuming but I'm sure you'll find a defect somewhere in there
  5. You sure it is not the wiring coming through from the roof to the tailgate that is broken Pull back the rubber boot that is surrounding the wiring and check the wires
  6. Trevor replied to Colins's topic in HR-V 2022 onwards
Some tyres can make a horrendous noise but it may also be the tyre profile that is picking up and transmitting more noise (e.g. lower profile tyres) Only way to determine is when you need new tyres you can search by noise ratings and try to find the lowest
  7. Is it possible to get it repaired (e.g. is it metal or plastic construction)?
  8. Try DemonTweeks as they tend to carry quite a range of cold air intake parts
  9. Thank Bazzer. was on holiday abroad for the Coronation but caught some of it on TV in between visits to the bar Hope you had a nice relaxing weekend?
  10. A quick eBay search is showing some rails but mainly cross bars https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=2004+honda+accord+roof+rails&_sacat=131090&LH_TitleDesc=0&rt=nc&Type=Roof%20Rail&_dcat=33651
  11. Rubbing back the affected area and filling possibly? As long as it is not within a certain distance from a structural part of the car and is not too large then this repair should be acceptable
  12. Trevor replied to Ed G's topic in Jazz 2001 to 2008
My main concern in what you have described is the high pitch wining noise .... this could be an indicator of the problem Do you know roughly where the noise is coming from?
  13. The results once the alignment has been done are in fact fine. They weren't and that would have caused the veering
  14. Maybe the fault code is still logged and needs erasing. I would drop it back to the garage that fitted it clear the code
  15. I would be tempted to fit a secondhand lock and key but will require two keys to be used for the vehicle Otherwise would be a shame to get shot of it for a simple (and low cost) repair
  16. I would go on the assumption that it has two but in 2001 I suspect it may only be one fitted
  17. Hi Matt.....welcome to the Club What a superb motor and don't see many of them on the roads nowadays Great to have you onboard!
  18. SatNav disc stores on the internet, plenty of them and cheap But still quite old maps but probably newer than you have already
  19. Did you buy it from a Honda dealer? Would recommend taking to the Honda dealer for these functions to be activated with their diagnostic platform.
  20. There are plenty of SatNav disc stores on the net and most offer replacement discs (albeit a little bit out of date but certainly newer than you have)
  21. Hi BryanH ....and welcome to the Club Good to have you onboard !
  22. Hi Zain ... welcome to the Club I had this issue on my 2007 CR-V and it was the rear suspension that needed adjustment to rectify the pulling. The natural camber of the road is that it pulls to the left and got annoying to have to hold the wheel with my thumb constantly resting on the steering wheel. With some adjustments to the rear Toe, the issue was sorted. The rear suspension arms have some adjustment bolts (from memory you loosen the outer nut and adjust the inner bolt to alter the Toe The trick is to adjust the rear suspension before the front, most garages just make adjustments from the front and this accentuates the pulling even more so. Do you have any printouts from the previous alignments which you can post up so I can look at the figures?
  23. Oh crikey what a nightmare! Hopefully it is just a glitch and normal service resumes once they find what the issue is
  24. Has anything been done on the car recently? I put in a search on the internet and it comes up with a few possibilities for you to work through Seach term: honda errors HFT NG GA-NET NG
  25. I had to refer the drivers handbook for my CR-V as I had no idea and it actually turned out to be easy once you got through all the various steps. If it has voice control then it was something like "stored phones/devices" and then following prompts (sorry memory is a bit foggy nowadays)
